Default Has anyone ever tried to take the stock wood trim and paint it to Piano Black?
Wondeirng how hard this would be, and would seem much less expensive then doing a carbon fiber swap.

Anyone?

Default Check with Brian @ Avalon he did something like this with his S4 trim
However I think he used the plastic trim from an A4 which he then had custom painted.

not difficult at all, much easier than the b5 since you dont need to drop the dash

But what exactly do I need to do? Is there a special paint and clear I need?

Default dunno, i have Carbon Fiber Trim...
but i'd guess primer+paint+clearcoat
