Default Also check out rs6.com as an additional RS6 resource . Do not get too worried about

"problem" posts. Many of us do not have problems and love our cars - and therefore do not post too often. (I had the tab-break issue too a few months ago.) A few people are very vocal about problems and that is fine, but they are generally just a small percentage of owners. Enjoy the ride and new front grille.

This is my 4th Audi but by far the most inspiring machine I have every owned. The RS6's garage mate is an "04" Z06 so I have the summer to get the kinks out including crapcaning some very noisy Dunlops which I posted earlier and also appreciate the dialogue on. I'll try not to get disappointed but also wonder where service experiences might be best as I am halfway between Minneapolis and
The Big Windy??

Default Don't let 'em scare ya, Toes

The Beast is awesome, and as with any car, there are some particular issues that have popped up in the past 3 years, but pretty darn infrequently. I've got 32K on mine, with no issues thus far, but I sure won't chip it to risk voiding that warranty. You will find this forum unlike most others with solid posts and great information when needed; use the search function as well.
Had a great time in your town years ago during Octoberfest.

It's not THAT small! And, if needed, you COULD get service in Minneapolis.

Default Hood Release, On-Star, DRC failure. Otherwise a great ride. If your DRC fails

give them one shot, and then consider dropping $4000 on aftermarket Ohlin's or $1900 on Bilstein PSS9. Both are reported great systems and will save you a lot of grief.

DRC can be fixed but it takes a very experienced tech and the understanding that if one seal fails they all should be replaced...and an empty shock is a dead shock, replace that too.

I want to thank you all, I feel better already I was kind of wondering what I might have gotten myself into but I can see the company on this forum is knowledgable. Ive photoed all of the revelent posts so the dealer should be up and running, speaking of which (no.radar) is right, the hill country around here is a RS's paradise, not to mention the Great River Road. If any of you ever get down this way give me a holler and I'll show you some special ones. Now whats up with the vin number thing?? Toes

Default Just a fun way to try to record as many of the 1100 or so U.S. RS6 VINs as possible.--->

I always liked seeing SW Wisconsin from the plane on early approach to O'Hare from Denver. Lovely hilly country with plenty of RS6 roads as you say.

DaveyKid's RS6 VIN Registry: Now at 275+...and counting.
