What makes the Misano so special is the metalic that's in it, not many cars with that at all. Anothe
r one of Audi's "pearl effect" paints. They sure come up with some sweet colors. Nogaro, Imola, Sprint blue, Pelican blue, Aquarell, Tropic green, Papaya orange, Misano red.... to name a few.

I used to have a 1986 CS 5000 and it was red..but a different red for sure than
this one. Can't remember what it was called..maybe tornado red...then had the 94 S4 Pearl ...but missed the red...so back with red. You can always find it in the parking lot...mostly because it sits alone. I usually smile while walking out to the car...so pretty and of course, always clean. The bad thing when people drive up and say how pretty it is..instead of being polite..I smile and say, I know! I have to stop doing that.

My first Audi was an '86 5000CS also but mine was quattro and charcoal, like the volcano black color
. The red you had on your 5000 was indeed the tornado red. I've had so many Audis since. '90 pearl coupe, '94 rosewood red cabrio (for like a week, pos went back to the seller), 3 separate '91 200 20V's (red, charcoal and black), pearl '93 S4, black 98 A4 and now black '00 S4. I think I got them all...
