I'm serious. If it has rained within 2-3 days of your run(s), the salt may be damp enough to impede good speed...might coat your car's lower body...and in a worst case scenario, cause the car to bog down to an abrupt stop.
I encountered the first two issues but avoided the third in a visit several years ago. I was just tooling around on the flats, not really on the official track or competing in any way. It was a blast, doing 140 with no worries about police!
If the track had been drier, I might have tried for 150 or more.
