I'm sure you know, but the RS6 has great brakes.

In case you haven't seen this yet :-)<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/brakes/msgs/148.phtml">Braking Comparison</a></li></ul>

I wonder if that is the active anti-dive suspension helping here, rather than any special audi optimization not done on the S4 etc.
If you look at that list and consider the amount of energy dissipated per second, it is even more astounding. The RS6 must be #1 on an energy absorbed per second list given its weight. Even more: if you consider the pathetic rear brakes of the RS6 and how little work they do (judging by lack of brake dust and wear), then the front brakes of the RS6 are probably converting almost 200% more kinetic energy into heat as the front brakes of an Enzo, Vette, scoobie or evo.
No wonder a journo track day in the RS6 can cook the disks.

I would think the DRC does play a roll in that....and the rear braks actully do work back there....
Last time I tracked the car I shot the front and rear brakes for temp and they were only about 70 to 80 degrees off eachother which would lead me to believe there is work being done.
As for the front brakes.....IMO they are good to a point and then they fall off pretty bad. Better rotors would big help and maybe some better pads....never got that far though....got the S4 for that stuff.
