My new winter wheels arrived today. They are five-spoke replicas, size 8.5 x 18, ET 30, 5 x 112. They are made in Italy and weigh about 28 pounds each. I got them from 1010tires.com in Canada for $205 each. (There are not many available replicas in that exact OE size.) The quality seems pretty good and they came with the Audi insignia snap-in pieces for the center hubs. (See photo.) I am going to mount my existing Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on these replicas, after removing these tires from the OE nine-spoke wheels currently on the car. Then I will have some minor curb rash repaired on all four wheels (done by the previous owner, not by me) while the wheels are off the car with no tires on them. When I get the refinished OE wheels back in several weeks, I will mount new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s on them for summer use. Before I install these new winter wheels, I was thinking of putting some type of wheel wax on them to help cut down on brake dust accumulation. Any recommendations?

Re: Try Rejex. Amazing stuff. Great for the whole car!
Thanks. I just ordered RejeX. I will try it on the wheels first. How often do you reapply on the wheels? After application, how do you then clean the wheels? How well does it work on the rest of the car? Do you still need to wax? How often between reaplications? Thanks.

I use Klasse AIO followed by Rejex - best results ever, and it's long lasting and low-effort!
Here's the results:

Re: Try Rejex. Amazing stuff. Great for the whole car!
I use it on the whole car. every 4 months. The wheels still accumulate siome dust but a shot of compressed air blows it off .. One great effect is that when you go to wash your car, all surface dirt is easily removed when you spray down the car so by the time you start washing the dirt crystals that normally scratch your paint are gone. Its like a teflon coating for your paint! This really helps keep microscratches away. The directions will explain everything.. No, you dont have to wax it after Rejex. Hope you likey!
