I added one quart during break-in after 1000 miles but havent burned a measureable amount or added any since 5k oil change. At 8k now. How about yours?

Default During break in phase... did you "baby" it or

did yourun it a little harder with some WOT? East break in is a mistake with these cars and can cause the valves to seal poorly causing more than normal oil burn.

15,000 miles, no evidence of burning oil.

Default Not really babied..Tried to keep it under 4k or so and as the miles passed by..

After 500 miles I began to drive it like I was going to keeping full throttle and hi rpm down, but alot more sporting.

I had a similar situation - added 2/3 L oil at about 2000 km and no oil needed since.

When they overfill it by a quart, it's hard to tell. :-)
