I have a question on cleaning leather. A friend of mine left her purse (black leather) on her passenger seat (light tan leather) all day in the heat. It stained the seat. We tried cleaning it up with Mr. Clean magic eraser and then conditioning it with leather conditioner. Do you have any recommendations on other products we can try? It looks 95% better than it originally did. I'm worried we might have taken some of the color out of the tan leather because the black spot in some areas got a lot lighter but seemed to expand to previously unstained areas.

Since this is a car forum, people probably wonder what type of car. This happened to an infiniti G35 coupe.
