Possible to replace the shark fin?
Newer model Audi's have more refined antennas, is it possible to swap out the "wart" with something more stylish? I mean the North American RS6's don't look like the 1:43 model car from the Audi catalog.
Any ideas if those antennas share the same functionality and wiring?

probably....
you'll just need to see if the wiring will be the same. I think you are referring to the roof antenna that is found on a C6 A6 or 2005 allroad.
Keep in mind:
1) probably two versions (one with GPS and one without)
2) The avant (allroad) and sedan version will probably be slightly different (as they use a slightly different diversity antenna switching system for AM/FM - between rear glass, roof etc.)
3) Probably need to have it ordered to match your paint (not sure)
4) Probably $300+.
Worth asking the guy at the parts dept for prices etc.
