Default RS6@Auction.com - another one at Manheim!

Good morning gang!

This low miles gray beast is going on the auction block today in sunny Florida. Hopefully to be appearing soon at a dealer near you, or perhaps on AutoTrader or Ebay. I'll report back with the sold price should it meet reserve.

If you are a advertiser/dealer here and you buy it, let me know and I'll not post the sold price.

(Not the car that's up for auction. Just evidence of my love for those wheels and perhaps a red shoe fetish. ;-) )

Default Doesn't look like it sold.

MMR does list 6 over the last 5 months though...

2/21/06 Arizona $53,650 34,459 miles Red
2/08/06 Atlanta $60,300 11,100 miles Blue
2/06/06 Nade $60,000 29,074 miles Gray
2/02/06 Riverside $49,000 14,230 miles Black
12/16/05 Manheim $55,500 34,227 miles Blue
12/13/05 FAAO $59,000 12,658 miles Gray

So with that data the average price is $56,242 at 22,625 miles.

Default The one in Pa with 47k miles didn't sell last week at Manheim

a sign that sellers have unreasonably high expectations or that wholesale buyers are distracted by other opportunities (or girls in red shoes)?

Dealer markup generally runs ten to fifteen percent depending on what the car needs to certify.

Default It did! Yahoo....

Find it and jump on it. That was a remarkable price considering the milage and location. Maybe $4,000-$5,000 less than expectations and $10,000-$12,000 under recent retail "BIN" ask prices on eBay. Maybe the two girls with red shoes showed up, distracting teh bidders? :-)

Default Come on now Paldi, if you want to be one of the cool ones like us with an RS6, the least you can do

is get the color right! Gray would be Daytona Gray, which that's not. Silver would be Avus Silver, which that is. And it's not pronounced Avus as in Avis the car rental company. It's pronounced AVOOS.

I looked for Dolphin Gray, really I did, but those shoes! Besides, 'D gray is shown in the post below with the 3k mile ebay beastie. :-)

Default Since we're learning colors... (WW Phaeton content...)

this is called Nocturne Aubergine. I would be cooler if it was a W12, but the Bentley wheels sure help. :-)

Not my Phaeton, but the guy liked my wheels so much he bought a set for his. :-)
