RS6 aftermarket warranties
What are you guys doing for them, are they generally available? Decent coverage? It's the lst big question before I start the hunt for a new (to me) RS6...

Fidelity Gold Plus - 4 years/100K miles
About $3500. Bought it March of 2007, since my warranty was going away in June.
Well, just now it started to pay for itself. $1000 for the alternator replacement.

Fidelity has lots of pros and cons on the web. I need to purchase an extended warranty myself for the RS6- is it with confidence that you recommend Fidelity.

I'm putting together a group purchase for extended warranties now on AW...
...see the thread a few sections down.
If you let me know the current mileage on your car, or approximate mileage on the car you're considering buying, I can get you a specific quote.
The two plans are a comprehensive named component plan covering tons of stuff, and going out as far as 7 years from date of warranty purchase, or an exclusionary plan, as close as you can get to new-car coverage, also out as far as 7 years.

Yes, mine is a 4 year, 75k plan as well now that I look at the booklet.
So 1/2 year was left on my factory warranty on RS6#2 and had 22K miles when I bought it. I'm covered for 4 additional years or up to 75K miles. By then I'll have my new RS6 I hope!
