Well, I still have my engineering mindset...it's what's inside that counts.

Default Interior width is actually the same as a B5 S4

I know this to be the case because I owned both for a while and measured myself. When I asked about it, the response was that I shouldn't be surprised because the B5 A4 or S4, the current A6 (basis for the RS6) and even the Passat come from the same platform. So, all would have the same interior width.

Default Didn't work for me :-(

170hp 1.8T in the fall of 2000 was good power at a reasonable price...by 2002 it was a slow POS that had far too many electrical problems and turbo lag got annoying...

Default What about more commonly compared interior dimensions?

Shoulder, hip, knee, etc... inches? Seems the A4 is a lot smaller.

Default I don't know; I only measured cabin width

I took a tape measure and stretched it from one rear door opening to the other, in each car. Inches were identical. I was blown away but couldn't deny what I saw. My RS6 interior does seem larger, but it must be due to the increased length and the lighter colors (silver in the RS6, black leather in the S4).

If you really want the other specs, they might be available in some car mag articles or maybe product literature from Audi.
