hey, this is my first post in the rs6 forum. I am a former owner of a b5 s4 and now a owner of a b6 s4 and an a8L, I think a combination of a sporty car and luxury car does the job well. However, now I am considering a rs6.

Can anyone compare how much faster and better is the rs6 then the s4? Also, compared to the e55 amg, that car is a beast, but no awd, other than that..is the e55 a faster and more fun car?

I've driven both.. the E55 pulls like a bat out of hell... but it's a straight line cruiser.. if you like that.. go for it... the RS6 pulls very hard too... but the response of the car is far greater than that of the E55... also.. it's much faster than the B6 S4.

it is much faster than the rs6, and the s4 is pretty darn fast

are a lot of Audi's there and of course models we don't have in the States. But so far no sightings of an Rs6..must be rare there too.

RS6 is a better $deal, and better overall. E55 is nice too, but the dealers are real cocky about price, the car is much more expensieve with same options, has much better Sat Nav and Audio system. If you want to shift via center console, E55 is better too. Steering wheel shift is akward.
But the quatro can't be beat. If you want to do 1.4 mile runs E55 is for U, for everything else RS6.
Finally, U think the .4 sec will make a diff for U?

but it's not faster than the RS6... both dragged at our local track several times... and the RS6 is by far faster. and you're right the new E55 is quite a bit faster than the RS6. Now take it out on a wet day or when it's snowing and see who can run circles around who. =))))
