So, I notice my suspension is squeaking and groaning a bit lately, and assumed it had something to do with the cold weather. So when I take my car into the dealer for my latest round of transmission problems I told them to find the source of the squeak as well. When I get my car back the other day they told me that the original dealer never removed the plastic/styrofoam shipping blocks during the PDI so they took care of it and the squeaks of course are gone.
So, in the course of the dealer removing my engine and trans, don't you think they might have noticed it? Also, during the course of it's 10K service, don't you think they would have noticed it then also?

to me lately...getting some squeaking when pulling in and out of driveway while at the same time turning hard...almost ready for the 20k service so I was going to have them check on this but it never occurred to me to look at whether there are blocks in the springs...I'll be looking first thing in the AM...anybody else have this problem??
