I took it out!

Bluetooth module fit in nicely in place of the OnStar module and used the existing microphone.

Only problem was waiting nearly 6 weeks for the replacement dome light piece from Audi.

Removal is fast becoming the default protocol for fixing all chronic RS 6 ailments, sad.

Default mine was changed, but they failed to call on-star with new Numbers, and it of course failed again.

red within a week. They would not listen when I told them they needed to get the 'special' replacement which was re-engineered to not have the charging defect.

That is why my next car will be a Honda. Honda's electronics work, Honda's Don't usually break, but when they do....Honda can actually fix it.

Default My onStar is still green after the recall part installed

However, since I'm doing the bluetooth, I may go your route.

Default I figured I never used it, OnStar analog system going away soon (so I hear)...

so why not use the existing wiriring for something useful like BT (assuming you have RNS-E)? Super easy swap and it is something I use daily.

Default Quick question I have a BT coming as well, wondering where the onstar module is in our cars

Is it under the seat or by the kick panel?

Thanks!

Default Not Normal...but drivable....rebounds twice with stopping, rebounds twice on bumps

better but not normal and will only be 'normal' if I dump several grand into an aftermarket suspension...

just riding out the rest of my lease - 18 months....then the 'next' guy can worry about the DRC and On-Star BS.
