but they did not call in the numbers to the On-Star People.

I dug the unit out and photographed it and called On-Star. The On-star part is working, but the cell phone says "Cell Phone Unavailable." Perhaps after 24 hours it will be working as per On-Star, but I am a bit suspicious that the Cell Phone part may need to be turned on by the Computer or something...we shall see.
