Default Turn signal switch change?

I was hoping to somehow get my directional signal lever to operate like the newer models, i.e. a slight up or down push triggers a 4X blink instead of just one like ours do. Is there a plug-in switch under the dash that controls that or is it the signal arm itself?

Thanks.

Default Part # for VW is 000-998-229-A. It's an Audi stamped relay as well. My guess is it would work for

yours too but you may want to do some homework on that. Comfort Flash Indicator is it's name.

Default kufatec sells a kit that will give you that option. I just bought it. Not cheap.

It only consist of a OEM relay, a relay plug with wires that you must tap into your current turn signal stalk. I think we can rig this up on our own. Just buy the OEM relay, relay plug from any auto parts store, and tap into the stalk. I didn't install mine yet, I'll check the part number for the relay this weekend and post it.

Default I'll take pics this weekend with part #. It only looks like...

a regular Audi relay
a plug that plugs into the relay
and wires coming out of the plug for you to tap i not your turn signal stalk wiring.

If you can order the relay ( which has a Audi part # one it), you can rig this yourself.

You can find it here:<ul><li><a href="http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p758/XTCsid/b6c1c3a4719607895ac6c449b86cd872">Kufatec blinker relay</a></li></ul>

Default Here's another place that sells it for $80 USD, but they put it in their own enclosure.

I'll be installing mine this weekend.<ul><li><a href="http://us-shop.goingfast.com/product_info.php?info=p4379_Comfort-Flash-Module-One-Touch-Turn-Signal-Control.html">another blinker relay</a></li></ul>
