UrS6 vs. RS6 - help if you have owned both..
I'm considering buying a 2004 RS6 - I have currently a TS04 UrS4 and a UrS6 Avant ( chipped, but otherwise stock ). If anyone here has driven a big turbo UrS and can compare it to their RS6, I'd appreciate the input.

No comparison in performance. I have a chipped RS6 and had a Stage IV (I.A.) '95 S6. The RS6 has better Stopping, acceleration, handling, interior (S6 seats were better than U.S. RS6). The RS6 is more expensive in Maintenance, but when upgraded with the RNS-E, it is as modern of and interior as any '08 or '09 car out there.
I loved my '95 S6, I had just made the decision to keep it and redo all of the suspension bushings and stuff when an idiot without insurance lost control of his car on an icy road and hit me head-on. I would never trade my RS6 for an UrS6 but I do miss the car, more sentimental though. But as mentioned, the RS6 costs more overall, and more expensive for Maintenance. If you do a lot of your Maintenance yourself you can save some of that money, the more capable mechanic you are the cheaper it will be. If you get the RS6 get a car which has records of course. Check out www.rs6.com if you want to know more about the RS6 as it is the real RS6 site now as this site has mostly died.
