water leaking from under car... ideas??

Oh yeah.........
....if it is humid lots of water comes out.
...remember one thing - you have oils and coolant in your car - no clear water (unless you've filled the windshield washer with plain water.) Oil is oily, coolant is orange, washer fluid smells very strong but nothing that looks and tastes like water.....

The more humid the climate, the more condensation you will get..
try running it with the a/c off and see if it stops. Here in SoCal, the humidity is very low and the drip is not much at all.

Could be drain plugs in battery compartment
My A4 was leaking water when I wasn't using the AC. Saw about an inch of water in the battery compartment, it had stormed the night before. Took the battery out and found the two drain plugs were totally clogged!
