I don't want a fidelity warranty or aa warranty ... i want an audi CPO type extended warranty... yes I'll pay for the cpo inspection in order to get this car certified. Is $4-5K about right?

...specifically covers turbos and probably more than a CPO warranty (or at minimum, the same). I paid approximately $1550 to take coverage out to 5 years from the date this warranty was written (so until May 2009), or until 60,000 miles. My goal was the longevity, not the mileage as I figured I'd not put ICON-like miles on the car. (So far, I've racked up 7,000 in 9 months.)

I purchased the warranty from my Audi dealer. They do not "sell CPO warranties."

Warranty was "arranged" by Resource Automotive and is issued and administered by Automotive Warranty Services here in Chicago.

My service writer said it was a new program... I am going to get one through the end of my lease 4 yr 60 miles... The 10k extra miles is like $850 or so.... which at the rate my motor keeps coming out is money well spent.
