Crushing news! I have been told it will be 7 months before I can get the RS7 I ordered last week.
The factory is too busy.
I'm thinking of cancelling the order. Would you wait 7 months?

Buy a used S7, then order a 2015 RS7 and trade in 9 mos or so

I believe it. Ordered mine 9/24 and just got word it should arrive the first week of April. Killing me.

That is a seriously good idea of yours. Used S7's have dropped massively in price. You can get one 3 months old and pay only 60% of its new retail price.
Then perhaps wait and get a used RS7 when they are more plentiful. Hmmmmm..............

OMG! So it's true, they can be 7 months on delivery. I thought I was being fobbed off. Poor you. The wait must be torturous.

Ask another dealer. I ordered mine in December and I'm build week 9. So 4 ish months from order to delivery. You just need to find out if the dealer has allocation.

I ordered mine last week of December for European delivery. Audi set me up for April 15th. Then I changed my mind and told my dealer to just get the car to USA ASAP. He called me back in amazement because Audi said my car would now be at the dealer by April 1st !Seems like the Euro delivery sped up the schedule for me.

That's very kind of you to post that link. Trouble is I'm a Brit in the UK. There's not a single RS7 in the country yet. Mad huh.
I had a look at car.com and there are some beautiful examples. Shame they're all in the States.
