My local Audi dealer. It's going to be pretty sweet on track but it is a little annoying when I'm stopped on a hill.

fingers crossed for you, but low engagement usually means poor installation on these clutches.

they don't seem to read the instructions when they install them for whatever reason. 'OH, i know what I'm doing....I've installed clutches'

meanwhile the jhm installation is pretty important to get it done right. Torqued properly, loctited bolts, use JHM bolts ,not the stock ones. Any of these not done right it backs out, and the engagement point gets real low. Then it stops working and guys say 'my jhm clutch failed' when really your installer falled.

Aren't you the guy who had it installed like 5 days ago? And were advised that 250 miles of break in would be ok for you (and your trackday/dragstrip day)? If so I hope you ignored that advice and followed the instructions on break in.

I'm 650 miles in so no concerns with getting to 800-900 by Friday which meets the break-in requirement. I gave them the instructions and they seemed dirty like they had been used during the install so I hope they followed them. This dealer installs a lot of aftermarket parts for clients so I doubt it's their first. The mechanic who worked on my car has an S4 that he's modding and now plans to put this clutch on, so I think he'd pay pretty close attention. I'd have to drive someone else's stage 4 car to know if there's a difference. I have heard that it's pretty easy to adjust the engagement point though, so may no necessarily be a faulty install type error.

Good luck man, I hope you pull it off.
Congratulations sakimano, those are great times. Hate to say "I told you so". OK, actually I love to say it. Your job's not done yet though. Get that carbon out, and you'll do 12.5. Good luck, you can do it!
