Default 2010 RS4 with R Tronic
So this is what my dealer tells me as I was admiring an 08 blk on blk RS4 while my B6 was in service. BS or legit?

Default agreed. never seen an RS model in the 2nd year of its platform's life cycle
i'd think they'd do an RS5 and/or TT-RS first, but who knows; audi's changing its whole game plan

We don't even know what engine the 2009 B8 S4 is going to have yet.... officially anyway

Default I think I read an article with someone high up at Quattro that said they were...
Going to try to get the RS models out sooner in the chassis' life cycle and I think it was about 2 years after the initial roll out of that chassis.

I guess so, but technically the B7 was just a greater-than-normal facelift on the B6

Default By then don't you all think it RS4 will have a full fledged DSG instead of the R Tronic?
Assuming Audi engineers can get the DSG working with that kind of HP and torque.
