Trust me.. its SUCKS. It makes my stock IS300 stereo sound like a $10k system

Default Except for the fact that your shoe completely blocks the door speaker...
...and the rear decklid rattled like crazy. And the CD changer eats discs like no other. A fine system, indeed

Default I have liked it better than systems I have heard on BMWs
It's not perfect but I enjoy the flat response

Default what specific criteria by not sounding great and what are you comparing it to?
- low/mid/high frequency response
- distortion
- staging
- volume

Default Yeah, BMW is torrid as well. My M-Audio option speakers were made by...Nokia!

As with *most things* Bose, the bass response sucks. It has muddy midrange when bass notes hit.
