Anyone consider Hartmann RS6 replicas. Can be had in 19x8.5" with ET 25.

Default Really all depends how narrow......

A 255mm tire actually sits very nicely on an 8.5" wide wheel. In fact, if you look at how the stock tire sits on the stock wheel, you will see that the sidewall is stretched out just ever so slightly. The B5 RS4, for example, ran 255/35/18 tires on 18x8.5" wheels. The previous gen RS6 also had 255's on 8.5" wheels.

So....a 255mm tire will sit very well on an 8.5" wide wheel. Narrower than that is a different story. Also, 8.5" wheel may save weight, depending on the wheel, of course.
