Default Hey Mike...5/19 & 20 at New Hampshire. The car feels 'planted' for sure.

I posted Tuesday ...took off the Hsport front bar and reverted back to the oe bar while still maintaining the Hsport 24mm rear sport bar per STaSIS recommendation.
Jared sez any front bar upgrade kills the STaSIS coilovers need to overcome understeer and when you think about the big front bar upgrade, it makes allot of sense. Their Hyperco coils (750# on the front, 1100# on the rear for the Ohlins) make up the difference, the bigger front bar stiffens the front which one does not want.
I've been out a few times with the car since and the front feels less heavy than with the Hsport front bar.
When I think back to last year at Lime Rock & Tremblant, I had a bunch of understeer more than the year before...now I know why, and I shoulda figured it out myself with my experience. I was blaming the tires, which by themselves were another issue recently solved.

Default Good! Speaking of New Hampshire, they want me to come on down to be an instructor there...

The problem is my flight schedule is already made up for the month and I'm not "OFF" during those days.

Also I'm pretty sure my car won't be ready and I don't really want to have all the expenses that go along with a trip down to New Hampshire (hotels, gas ect) and not be able to drive the car on the track so it looks like a no go for me.

Default Damn. :( Sorry to hear this. This is my first visit to NH. Should be a challenge.

Maybe you'll have some 'luck' along the way and be able to attend. )

Default They are the lightest tires in the class, and often the cheapest. Not nearly as noisy or harsh as

say S03s, with a predictable breakaway under all conditions. It depends what you want, but the T1-R can be the right choice for some people.

I have no complaints for what it is.

Tire Rack won't sell them because of a company/personality conflict many years ago.

100% Agreed. Just got done with a set. Worst Z-rated tire I've ever owned. Horrible grip.

Conti 3's and PS2's weigh about the same in 19". Both are much better than T1-R's.

Great tire! I loved them. This time I bought the Bridgestone RE-01R to try them but I loved the PS2s
