For the past week or so, I have been emailing multiple sources about what exactly the best laser jammer was. In the end, from all the emails and forum threads, the following thread from radardetector.net is the outcome. HONER, I did use your picture thread to spur conversation on the laser jammer site. From discussion, it seems that with the large size of the holes in our grills, behind the grill might be ok (however, not advised). This is only probably ok for the diode sensors (i.e., lidatek, laser propark, antilaser) and not ok for the LED based sensors (i.e., blinder, ZR3). Also, it seems as though the european jammers are currently the best jammers available. As for what I am going to do. I have ordered the laser propark, although stock will not be available for another 5 weeks or so. I will probably start with the proparks sensors behind the grill as in HONER's beautiful install. If I get a laser ticket, then I will drill holes in the upper center part of the bottom outside grills (as seen by the yellow blocks on the picture above)

http://www.radardetector.net/%26quot%3BBest-Jammer%26quot%3B--Please-help.-15037t.php</a

Someone pointed me out to the valentine audi interface. I contacted the company and they will have the hardware to do this in about two weeks. That is also going to occur during the laser propark install. Thank you to the member of this board for introducing me to this website.

http://audi.caughtbluehanded.com/</a

Star 607..I purchased a 05.5 black S4 one year ago, and am now waiting shipment for the RS4 I recently ordered. Both black. I too have been doing lots of research... I completely agree with your assessment, and will be purchasing the laser propark about 6 weeks prior to delivery..as for now....
First, my car is black, which helps. I did order the laser shield and Veil. I hated to put the veil on the lights, and the chrome, and the laser shield on teh plate. however, I have been hit with the laser many times. I carry a X50 and set it low on the dash..it has very good radar capabilities, and allows for this placement for beter laser detection.. # times now I have been hit at speeds of 90-95, and not been pulled over. Twoce i was following rabbits, the third not. It was on a VT freeway with the cruise at 95 and my foot sitting on the brake for just an encounter...anyway, point is veil and shield help loads....there is lots of chrome on the Audi to have to worry about.....keep us updated, I think your placement is great....
