He said his lightly modded M3 which you can see in his sig ran a 12.89 which could...

conceivably beat a US RS4 as a poster who just went to the strip posted a 13.2 with a great launch and a few mags have posted low 13s. Seems like a very even match with very similar trap speeds as well at 108mph. Again,his car has an exhaust and gears.

Exhaust, gears, race fuel, LW battery, CF trunk, BFG drag radials doesn't = apples to apples.

Comparing a modded car to a bone-stock competitor, then leaps to a baseless and broad generalization and conclusion. Sounds like desperation to me.
