Default Brand and size and type of SD cards

I read the manual that said you can only
use one piece SD cards

What brand, size and type of SD cards have
you used in your Bose system

I am going to be ripping massive amounts of
music to SD and need to know. I have ipod but
have no ipod and lots of CDs but don't want to
buy the very expensive CD changer

Thank you
John

Default Re: Brand and size and type of SD cards

The manual says 256K cards are the maximum. But, I have a 1GB Toshiba SD card that works. MP3 is the only format that will play, however - which stinks if you have a bunch of AAC files from your iPod....

Default Here's how it works

Even though the max size is 256K, the actual size is much higher. Not sure if that's the limit, but 4G works fine. Also I believe it it's SD cards only (not SDHC).

There's another limit, however. The maximum number of files and directories on each card cannot exceed 512.

So based on the size of my mp3 files I chose to buy a bunch of 2G SD cards, but if you have a lot of hour mixes or 320kbps files you might want to go with 4G.

For more detailed and more accurate information I would recommend you go to navplus.us.

http://navplus.us</a

How is it better than simply copying mp3 files to SD card?
