Building a RS4 engine into a project

Good day,
I hope there are some knowledgable people around that could possibly help me. I am currently building my own supercar and have an Audi RS4 engine with wiring loom and ECU. The engine will be mid-mounted using an Audi 01E gearbox to drive only the rear wheels. (BTW I have the RS4 gearbox AWD for sale - OA3 2007 model +/- 40k km)
My main question is about the ECU and sensors. Is there a way to bypass the sensors not used or should I go for some kind of aftermarket ECU? If the latter where do I go? I see REVO on the website, could they possibly be of assistance?
I know there are mid-mounted engine cars like the Ultimas for racing using RS4 engines.
Any and all help will be much appreciated.
Kind regards
TJ

Thanks mate,
I spoke to a local tuner here who seems to be 90% sure that the ECU can be decoded and therefore all the "unnecessary" sensors be cancelled. Should know by tomorrow. Other option would be going for a Dutch company (Kronenburg) who builds a kit (throttle bodies, ECu fuel rails etc.) and which delivers an extra 80 BHP on top of the 420 BHP. I think that will be a bit too expensive though.

Since we're talking RS4 lately .. query, how easy would it be to drop a complete RS4 engine in a S4?
