Default Try Highway 9 from Saratoga heading up to Skyline(hwy. 35) and head north to Hwy. 92

Then turn around and go back down. Use a radar detector and don't go on the weekends. Preferably weekdays between 10 and 2. Enjoy!

Default I probably did that 3-4x/week in HS -- all pretty late at night...

the one-way road with blind corners is safer at night, assuming the other guy's got his headlights on.

Of course I was in an 85hp Saturn SL1 5-speed, so I was never going too fast, heh.

Just hopped on 880->680->580 and I was back home

Just be careful through Palomares; people may be coming out of their driveways with horse trailers

Default I dont recommend Palomares at all

I use to ride my Mtn bike up that road...not long enough..too many dogs live there..and are in the street..and neighbors get pissed.

Default I never once saw a dog in the street or a bicyclist on that road...

Granted, I've probably only done it during the day a couple dozen times, while I did it at night probably close to 100.

Obstacles....Yes, adding more fun to the curvy road....but truly rarely any dogs/neigbors barking.

Default Got attacked by the same dog twice...very annoying

One sharp corner use to have tons of Tarantulas in the dirt walls...when you are going 0.5 mph..that isnt much fun.
