GotRS?

Does anyone get the voice command to work well? I just end up shouting at it for not understanding

Just to let you guys know, I'm an A.B.S. and I must say that Voice Control on the whole as of Septemver 6th, 2008 is completely useless.


I don't think anybody can use the Audi Voice Command feature faster and more efficiently than the MMI based interface for the telematics/Navigation system. The current voice command system is more akin to talking to a dog than conversing with a human.


I long for the day that we can speak to computers like they do on "Star Trek" but that day has yet to come.

My 2006 S4 voice sounded, well, harsh. Kinda like the tall "scientist" woman in the VW "unpimp da auto" commercials. I still think those were great commercials, BTW.

The new voice is at least more pleasing when the car doesn't understand what I want it to do, which makes its lack of compliance with my will less bad. No Majel Barret but an improvement nonetheless.

If I wanted perfect electronics, I would have bought an Acura. The MMI is not why any of us bought the RS4.
