I've had the exact same crap with my Touareg. Rubberized internal parts peeling and some other stuff. I've email and called and usually just threaten to a)never by another VW product and b) post on forums my experience. They usually cave although they make it sound like they are doing you a huge favor. You can even threaten to log a complaint with the BBB. Companies usually really hate that as it is a public record of how they are screwing a customer.
I've not had these types of issues with MBs that I have owned. MBs have their own issues for sure but I don't remember having to argue to get anything that should be covered, covered. Heck, BMWs warranty include wear parts like brake pads and rotors.

It says, "reimbursement for overpayment on claim ro ".
I'm not sure exactly what it's for but I'll cash it.
We had new tires put on the 325i recently so I assume it's part of the pro-rated warranty on the bridgestone runflats.
I'm not sure if they're all the same but the bmw dealer doesn't screw around. I am very impressed with my local bmw dealer. Audi should be very careful with the suspension BS when there are other brands with excellent customer service.

usually not covered and which falls under wear and tear items. they're also not likely to cover CV boots and ball joints/bushings for 4/50 either.
so, that's what they're obviously trying to pull here. it doesn't make it right especially when there's a known issue with the system.
it sure seems like DRC is a dud again, like the Allroad auto-ride height system. too many DRC complaints on the RS4 already and considering how few are out there, i'd say that's an excessive incidence of failure.
if they can't get it right they need to dump it and just put in a more advanced non DRC suspension, which would cost them more money of course.
Audi should not be jerking owners around on warranty repairs for a $70k car, period. let them pull that stuff on the lowly A4 or A3. for a supposed luxury and performance brand, Audi sure is cheap when it comes to their customers. part of it is the VW influence i'm sure, and their dealers who have a very non-high end mentality considering the cars they are expected to sell and maintain.
