Default I got one and returned it......

While the quality of the piece is great, it is a general item designed for the A4/S4/RS4. As such it does not cover like the OEM RS4 cover. There is a whole side panel missing, and there are no attachment grommets. The stock one has 3 attachment grommets. Since the whole purpose of an engine cover is to cover, and it didn't attach properly in the RS4 so I returned mine.

Default Great....now have him show you a pic from the other side......

and compare it to the OEM cover. There is whole side panel missing that leaves a lot of small engine parts exposed. The panel also does not attach to anything like the OEM piece. CF is very high quality but this is not a completely designed piece for the RS4.

Default I will have to look at it when it gets here but

I can do without the side portion, as described. DTH made me aware of this as well. However I am not familiar with the grommet pieces. Will have to investigate....likely though I will keep the piece. I like the look, not if only carbonio would make a nice intake for under $500. That $1500 thing from Japan is ridiculous.

Default It just doesn't have the completeness of design that should go on a car of this caliber.....

You'll see that without the side piece, a lot of small engine components are visible and it just doesn't look right to me. You may not care. Looks great from the top and matches the OEM CF parts perfectly. Also doesn't properly clear the coolant expansion tank. I'm very **** about little details, however. If I'm going to spend $200 on an engine cover, it should at least cover!!!

Now.....if you are really ambitious, you can use the stock OEM piece, cut it up, and construct a more complete piece using it and the CF piece. I just wasn't feeling that ambitious about this.
