I have a European Plate that matches the license numbering of the CA plate. Can someone tell me the part # for the European Front Plate Holder so that I can put it on? Otherwise, I will have to wait until the next time I am in France to get it, drag it home, & put it on, which will be a pain.

European Plate Holder

The way the code reads to me, you can't alter the government issued plate in any way, and it has to be affixed in the proper spot.
I don't have it on at all, but I just assume that eventually some bored CHP will hassle me for it...

i've run with a euro plate on the front that says the same thing as the rear and have never been nailed. however, i do believe that you technically need the CA DMV issued plate up there and that i've just been lucky.
dunno if you've gotten one yet but i got my euro plate holder audi part from a UK shop called www.vagparts.com. buy it online and they ship direct.
