At some point I'll prob replace speakers, or add amp and speakers, sub.. not a priority. I usually listen to Sirius, not great quality signal anyway. I have other cars with great systems.

The B5 Bose system had a "hidden" equalizer which helped bass a lot, but does anyone know if
something similar is available on the Nav Unit (RNS-E) ? Maybe it has beeter bass to begin with ?
By adjusting the equalizer on the B5, the bass could be improved quite a bit.

...but it is revealing enough to make Sirius unlistenable
I just can't STAND the compression artifacts in Sirius "digital-quality" audio.
Makes my ears ring after I shut if off and listen to silence...

Overkill for a car, prefer: 1) radio delete, 2) Live, 3) Fantastic home HiFi system.
Save the flames, I know this opinion is way off the bell-shaped curve - JMO.
