Default Is everyone happy with the Bose "Premium Audio System"?

In my B5 S4, it was pretty decent, but lacking in bass. How is the present system in the RS4?

At some point I'll prob replace speakers, or add amp and speakers, sub.. not a priority. I usually listen to Sirius, not great quality signal anyway. I have other cars with great systems.

Default The B5 Bose system had a "hidden" equalizer which helped bass a lot, but does anyone know if

something similar is available on the Nav Unit (RNS-E) ? Maybe it has beeter bass to begin with ?

By adjusting the equalizer on the B5, the bass could be improved quite a bit.

Default ...but it is revealing enough to make Sirius unlistenable

I just can't STAND the compression artifacts in Sirius "digital-quality" audio.

Makes my ears ring after I shut if off and listen to silence...

Default Overkill for a car, prefer: 1) radio delete, 2) Live, 3) Fantastic home HiFi system.

Save the flames, I know this opinion is way off the bell-shaped curve - JMO.

Default Nope. It sucks. One of the worst "premium" sound systems currently found in a car imo...

good thing the rest of the car is great.

Well, the Bang & Olufsen in the S8 could qualify. For less money, the Dynaudio in the Passat.

it's a lot better than the B5 version...I'd say similar to the C5 A6 Bose.
