Default Fair value for 4K mile "VIP loaner" RS4?

One of the Audi dealers I'm working with has an RS4 they have used mainly as a VIP loaner to clients of high-end vehicles such as R8 and S8. The car has under 4K miles and was listed in the pre-owned section of the website.

I inquired but was told the car was not technically for sale, but the owner (dealership owner?) would consider selling "for the right price."

My question is, what would be a fair price? It's Misano Red. That's all I know so far.

For ref, cars that actually sell on eBay seem to sell for low 50s and the ones priced mid 50s and up never make the reserve.

If the car is in great condition and was sold as a CPO car I was thinking of offering around $55K.

Too low? What do you all think would be a fair offer?

Thanks.

Default Wouldn't do it.

BluDemon is right. Even if the car doesn't show signs of abuse now, everyone who drives it has no doubt had the "it ain't mine" mentality. Here in southeastern Michigan it's very common to see cars advertised as "factory executive driven." That is code for, "beat to crap by people who don't care and their juvenile delinquent kids." Don't buy that car.

Forget it! Dealer wants $66,000 CPO or $64,000 non CPO

They must be crazy. You can get a new one for a few thousand cheaper than that!

Default They're insane. You don't want to do business with them at any price.

It is amazing how many awful dealers Audi has. I'm very happy with mine, but I'm within easy driving distance of three that completely suck.
