But so can letting brake dust sit on them for a month at a time.
I will generally use a weak stream with soap to wash off the big chunks and provide a carrier for the abrasive material, then spray on some wheel cleaner, followed by a quick power wash. With stock pads it just did not clean everything off. With these pads, I was amazed that the wheels looked bright and sparkley!

watch those wheel cleaners. even those that say safe for painted finishes can stain if left on too long or in direct sun.
i avoid them and just wash with a sponge or soft brush with lots of soap...using the same carnuba wash/wax mix as on the rest of the car. it leaves a protective wax coating on the wheels which makes the brake dust not stick as much and easy to remove next time.

Zeckhausen where out (he shiped the last pair/sets to Korea). Also Raceshopper is out but they are on the way from Italy. 159/set.
Also ordered the Motul race fluid. Totally with freight and 1 1/2 liter Motul about 360-ish.
