I think it is fine as long as they leave the badge off.
The RS4 grille looks awesome and I think it is flattering that people are changing out their grilles for the RS4 look. As long as they don't badge them, there is no harm. Not everyone that wants their Audi to look good can afford to drop the chunk of change required to buy a RS4. Now put an RS4 badge on there and I will be the first to make fun of that guy. Just my $0.02's.

Welcome to the RS6 world! LOTS of RS6 parts make their way to C5 A6's but very few do actually
re-badge parts, one way or the other. There are a few complete RS6 replicas out there that look quite good, but at the end of the day the engine remains different!

imo it would be a lot easier to mistake a b7 s4 for an rs4
than a b5 to b5 rs4

(well in the states at least) , they have similar 3 opening bumpers, they have flared fenders (one not as much as the other)
if you showed them both to a person who didnt follow cars they would say they are the same.
