results can and are manipulated. i don't want to start a whole argument about dyno testing. but, face the facts. the info is out there in droves. car mfgrs, SAE, and all other institutions DO NOT recognize individual dyno results. and there is a very good reason for that.
as for absolute or relative accuracy, if i understand your meaning correctly, relative would be showing 'some' difference(gain or loss), while absolute would be claiming a specific HP gain...again, based on what???
