Default Going back to the subject of wheels...

Bob kinda relit my brain the other day and I went back to the RS4 ideas. Then last night I had a vision...

Looked something like this...

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/Carrera1981/Choice01.jpg">

Now, I know just about everyone loves the look of the OEM wheel and wishes there was a lightweight version of that. However it does not lend itself to be the lightest and strongest design - not to mention that everyone and their cousin have a replica on the market.

The 10 Spoke RS6 Style from an engineering stand point would work extremely well - no lip, even number of equal length spokes. It could feasibly be 3/4 to 1lbs per inch in a 19 x 9.5. It also keeps in line with the OEM "look".

Thoughts?

Default Would be between 800 - 1000

All depends on the exchange rate and quantity. For comparison the OEM 19 x 9 ET29 RS6 wheel comes in at $941

I'm in if it stays under 20#. Let me know if there is enough interest to make the order.

Default Just need 10 to start...

Minimum order is 40 - 10 sets. The break down can be all a single color or can do a 20/20 split minimum (can increase fomr there dpending on demand). So If you guys are in let me know so I can decide to move forward. It would be 10% up front, an additional 50% at the time mfg begins and the balance at arrival. Timeframe of 90 - 120 days (to satisfy testing and any changes on the prototypes.)

Satin Gunmetal Finish:

1. JELRS4
2.
3.
4.
5.

Silver Finish:

1. Silver Fun
2.
3.
4.
5.

Default I just don't like it on the RS4

Then to reduce it to a 19" means a clean sheet anyway.

Default A lightweight MTM bimoto lookalike in titanium would be ideal for me

so I like where you are going with this idea

Default That looks like the RS4 "DTM" style wheel. IMO, it makes the RS4 look more like the S4.

Not a good thing. Widebody cars need a wheel with a "concave" design. Flat spoked wheels make the car look less wide.
