Default H-Sport sway bars installed

Hi everyone:

I hardly ever write, but I thought I would take a moment to mention my first and only mod for my RS4.

On Monday, Kevin at Crosby Audi in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada installed my new H-Sport sway bars. I had been worried that I would have to go to an after-market installer to have the work done, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that my Audi service department were more than happy to do the install. In fact, they were excited about it. 3 techs all worked on the car, and they were all glad to be doing something different. It was fun for them. I can't recommend Crosby Audi enough to anyone in the local area. They are all great, and a pleasure to deal with.

With the new sway bars set to soft, the car handles so much better than stock. Even with snow tires on, the car feels more planted. I used to hate the floaty feeling the car would exhibit on the highway at anything over about 120 km/h. Now, the car feels composed and stable. It's slightly stiffer, but not uncomfortable at all. It doesn't roll like it used to in corners which makes avoiding potholes almost fun. The car feels lighter. Overall, I'm 100% satisfied and highly recommend the H-Sport sway bars.

Now, back to lurker mode.

All the best!

Shawn

I contacted Hotchkis first, and they told me to contact their Canadian distributor Mopac Auto Supply in Langley, BC.

It was around $450 CAD taxes in plus about $80 or so for shipping I believe. The total cost was just over $530.

I like having the 29mm rear bar even on the S4. I've had 22 and 24mm and i much prefer this.

H-Sport was a division of Hotchkis Performance LLC. We have now combined all of our product lines to Hotchkis Sport Suspension. No part of the Hotchkis line has ever been owned by H&R.
