Default Has anyone been quoted different lease numbers? Am I getting jacked?

When I ordered my car in June, I wanted a 24 month lease. They quoted me

JUNE 06
MSRP: $73,520.00
Term: 24 months
Mileage: 12k/yr
Money Factor: .00307
Residual: 70%
Payment: $1326.00

I said okay and put a deposit. Now they are saying all the numbers went up. Now they are quoting me

August 06
MSRP: $73,520.00
Term: 24 months
Money Factor: .00345
Residual: 64%

Don't they have to honor the original deal?

if you're leasing an audi, you're getting jacked no matter what.

Default not true.

if it's a biz expense, leasing is always better than buying.

Default Its for business and I'm thinking RS6 next... leasing works best for me.

I've been told that they can lock in lease rates though...

Default Here is some info...

There are links in my sig and at the end of the PDF file linked to below. The PDF file has a link to a scan of the actual AFS lease rate sheet.

I believe that the dealer can only lock rates for 30 or 60 days.

You are getting f'ed on the "new" rates. The money factor is too high and the residual ridiculously low. Finally, try www.leasecompare.com - last time I looked they had competitive rates.

http://webpages.charter.net/parkhill/RS4/Financial/AFSLeasing.pdf</a

Default See above. Also, tell them you need to "think about the deal and compare offers"

You should have some leverage to negotiate.
