Disconnect instrument panel cover - 2 -. Open glove compartment cover.

Remove three bolts - 3 - at top in depressions of glove compartment - 1 -.

Remove outside bolts - 5 - (2x) from the side.

Remove bolts - 4 - (2x) from the footwell out from below.

Remove glove compartment downward.

Remove connector - 6 - of glove compartment light.

Disconnect harness connectors to electrical components in glove compartment where applicable.

Installing:

Installation is reverse of removal.

2 - Instrument panel cover

Removing:

3 - Bolts (3x) Tightening torque 5 Nm
4 - Screws, (2x) Tightening torque 5 Nm
5 - Screws, (2x) Tightening torque 5 Nm
6 - Electrical connection
7 - Instrument panel

funny, my dealer attempted to fix it by placing a small piece of felt on the latch coming out of the panel. It worked for about a week until the felt flattened out. Dealers suck!
