Default How do you pause music on RNSE.

How do you turn off music or pause(cd, tuner, or SD) without turning turning off the RNSE? I've gotten used to just turning the volume down, but I feel stupid for not knowing how to just pause the music.

Please go easy on me...haha

Default Just tap the on/off dial - that should turn on the mute function.

Play back can be resumed by doing the same thing or adjusting the volume from the wheel or the dial.

When I press the on/off dial the RNSe shuts off. It always bothered me bc if I wanted to pause music while I had navigation on it would turn the whole system off thus shutting of Navigation also.

Is my RNSe defective?!!!!

Default How old is your software?

I figured all RS4's would be new enough that they'd have the mute function. I think the 2007 maps came with the appropriate software update.

You can find more info out at navplus.us.<ul><li><a href="http://navplus.us">navplus.us</a></li></ul>

Default here's a link to v0150 software. I'll try and find something newer

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/31789.phtml">Click</a>

This version added the "click to pause" as well as getting rid of the annoying lawyer screen.

I think I have v0200 somewhere but can't find it right now.

Default update: here is the V0200 file. Follow the same procedures from the previous link

Yes, that's correct. I just don't have it available for download... and the link on Navplus is dead.

What does the current 0260 offer that the 0200 doesn't have?

not much - don't worry about it. The map update was the biggest thing.
