Lower resale for Avus is unmitigated b%11s#!t. The 25th Anniversary tanked in the marketplace for three simple reasons...

1. Price. Having Q-GmbH do the work easily doubled the transfer price of the 25th Anniversary's specific equipment.


2. Overproduction. AoA originally ordered 25. Some clown in Audi AG VM bumped the order by a factor of ten.


3. Price. Did I mention price?


Unfortunately, your salesperson isn't telling you the truth. His dealership <i>doesn't want</i> to special order a car. In Avus or any other color. Period.

If your salesperson is lying to you, it's time to take your business to another dealer.</font>

He has no problem special ordering a car. He already placed my order for Daytona Gray and he even said he doesn't care if I change it to silver, just that he personally thinks its a mistake for resale value. When I told him I probably will lease it, he said then that it wouldn't matter, go ahead and change it.

He might be wrong about the resale value as you say, but I don't think at all he's trying to stop me from special ordering an RS4, why would he? He's going to sell it regardless.

BS. Silver's the easiest color to sell. Most popular color in high end car sales.
