Default I'm not trying to start a fight. Sorry if I came off a little hostile towards you.

I'm glad I could teach you something, and we'll leave it at that as gentleman. However, Bob W. comes on here and thinks he's the end-all of automotive knowledge. His arrogance is laughable, so I only responded to his post A.) out of boredom and B.) to help enlighten him that the RS4's motor while good, is not the end of the car industry. A lot of his ideals are wrong; then again I've seen his posts and Mr W. is not a normal guy.

You can ask me on any hour, any day, any week of the month even after having bad sex, pizza, and a bj and I will tell you I think the RS4 is a well-rounded beast. I love them, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to transport my friends avant around for a few days.

I interned at pro-spec in the uk for a bit, abbey motorsports, and got some spot on experience/advice from a few engineers at cosworth racing. Currently trying to build a reliable 650whp 720+hp STi for my Grad school project. We figured if koenigsegg could do it, so could we so we'll see how it goes. Hoping to build a clean high hp/electric diesel for my dissertation.

Default worldclass = makes it the best engine out, then again it's all audi advertising.

So, why mention piston speed being the highest of any other engine?

Default Nor did I

You seem to want to belittle the 4.2L FSI engine for some reason. No one in this thread said it was the best engine. Bob did imply that it was a "world class" engine. And I did say that getting 100HP/L out of a NA engine is not a slam dunk. It isn't.

Yes, there are other engines that are equally capable. All of which are nice designs. All of which I would consider to be "world class."

Default WTF are you referring to?

I gave some specifications on the motor and gave my opinion that it IS among motors that can be considered world-class. I never said it was better, more efficient, more powerful, lighter, or prettier than any other engine. I never even *implied* that it was, as you stated, "the end of the car industry." If you think that's arrogant, then you have some serious mental problems.

Default You don't need to in one post Bob, you've done so in the past.

Like, say you're Gallardo post. Its funny you think a 70k car is as fast as a 180k car. I'm not the dillusional one here ;-).

Default I didn't say it, Top Gear said it.

I just reported the results they obtained. Blame them.

Default I played this well...

I never want to hear you call or even imply that the 4.2L FSI motor is better than most technology wise. Remember this post, and remember that it is in a class and certainly not one of its on.

I'll say it one more time though, I think it is a fine engine.

Default That's like saying I didn't say it, jesus said it.

Christians believe in the message, and you did the same as far as top gear goes. You chose to spread the message and back it with belief.
