Default oh, they just went with the 2 newer models and said so

i don't think much of that C&D comparo because i still believe the RS4 is better than both other cars. also factor in them doing the bidding of one of their biggest and most visible advertisers on an important new model(M3).

I'm with dave on this one. No performance data at all nor even any specifics. Odd review.

Default one specific, the seat doesn't go low enough...

they had it for 2500 miles. you'd think they'd be able to comment on several things in detail.

Default Yeah, Mini & BMW brand combined did...

...somewhere around 274,432 total US vehicles sales in 2006.

You're right on track.

Default Me too ... what's that strange, disconcerting feeling?

Oh yeah, it's me agreeing with Dave! j/k

It is the oddest review I've ever seen. If Audi didn't pay for it, they should.

Default it can happen...

when the planets line up just right : )

everytime i try and agree with you i get lectured. just learn to say yes sometimes.

"strange, disconcerting feeling"? my guess would be gastrointestinal, Scott.

oh yeh, almost forgot the disclaimer, this is a j/k.

Default It's a first review of

the long term car. They usually have the car for a whole year and focus on things on everyday driving rather than performance. To me that is even more relevant than a 2 day test report. They will keep updating on a regular basis until the car is handed over back after 1 year, which they will have a final conclusion.

Default Re: It's a first review of

and those who aren't privy(or interested) to followup reviews are left with the wrong impression?

each of their reviews, each step of the way, should be informative, not just dissing the car because it didn't properly wow THEM...which i find highly suspect anyway.

it was a weak piece of journalism.

Default Oh yah...I never expect much from C&D in terms of objectivity. Just thought

that effort was a bit more tortured than most, including counting the somewhat idiotic addition of ceramic brakes on the Euro spec car against the RS4 for price point purposes.

The RS4 is perfect for me, and if the C&D crew wants to throw down up here in the next four months, I would be pleased to demonstrate why. I am sure I could count on a few of you to join me. ;-)

12" on my car this morning. Did I play around on the way to work after leaving early to avoid traffic? You bet.

What are the sales figures for the timeframes of 1-2007 and 1-2006 for the following: BMW global (including the 274,432 USA BMW sales, of course), Mercedes Benz USA, Mercedes Benz global and Audi USA?
