In the market for a RS4

on a 3 year old car, having 100,000 miles on it sucks. On a B5, you can buy a whole donor car for $4-6,000 or raid a junkyard if you need a bunch of parts when **** starts failing. On a B7 RS4, that's just not plausible.
Different situation. Although I admit mileage isn't a big deal as far as the overall excellence or enjoyability of the car goes.
he has a B5 S4
although, my friend picked up a 100,000+ mile RS4. He said the intakes were almost closed over with carbon. He said he thought he had bought a lemon (imported it to Canada from Penn).
Now though...he has one of the fastest RS4s in the world.

Did you email me about trading the Avant? I am selling mine but with higher miles.

Thank you for all the feedback which helped me with my decision.
I just purchased a 2008 Ibis white with Silver interior from Southern California with less than 7K miles. The car is completely stock except for the Euro steering wheel. I thoroughly enjoyed the drive back home in Northern California.

I bought mine used as well, with 6000 miles on it in 2008.
It still brings a smile to my face.
Two things:
1. Hold the ESP button down for 3 seconds to turn the traction control as far off as it will go. This will kill the boggin down you feel on hard launches. It will also help with the 1-2 shift lurch.
2. The gas pump pain will wear off in a few months. You wont even think about it.
