ditto. I was certain the first thing I would do with my magnaflow tips would be to change them but..
I found that I actually like them better. They are very well made and look like they belong on the car. I even have a set of oval tips from an RS6.

I like the fact it's a 'wagon' and can be used for grocery store venues.

I have a set of 18" SSR comps that I was using as my winter wheels but I believe they are only 8.5"
width. They are 32 offset and clear everything fine but they sit inside the wheel wells a bit. A 9" width would be better. I really liked them; lightweight, strong and relatively inexpensive for a forged wheel. They are anthracite finish and looked nice with the AVUS silver too until I bent one on a curb last winter in an ice storm. I'm still looking for one wheel to replace it or I'm going to see if it can be repaired. There is a pic in my pic poster.

Unfortunately it isn't that simple.....
Offset is only one part of the equation. The space for the brake caliper is the other. If you could take a wheel with the same overall geometery as the stock wheel and add 1/8" internally to the rim and 3/8" externally to the rim, make it 18", you will then have the perfect wheel. No spacers needed. You should be able to construct a one piece forged wheel like this under 19lbs.
On my old Nissan 350Z, the Nissan Motorsports wheels were 18x9.5", one-piece forged, 18.8lbs and cost $575 each. If Nissan can accomplish this, someone should be able to do it for Audi also.
